Moraine Lake, just above this creek, is one of the most scenic lakes in the Canadian Rockies. While everyone was taking pictures of the lake I snapped a few of the creek. The rock pile to the left is from a massive rock slide that created the lake hundreds of years ago.

A recent sunset at Emerson Point Preserve. Emerson Point Preserve is a 365 acre preserve located at the tip of Snead Island in western Palmetto, Florida. One of these days I’m going to take a Kayak through here, but in the meantime the hiking trails and photo opportunities keep me coming back for more.

The was taken from a causeway along Manatee Avenue in Bradenton Florida. While tourist flock to the beaches, this is a favorite spot for local families. In fact, you can even ride a horse in the water here, I think they call it horse surfing; a great way to cool off for you and the horse. In any case, I just happened to be driving by around sunset and popped out of the car to grab this shot.

Maligne Canyon in Jasper National Park, Alberta. The Canyon was formed by the collapse of the ground above an underground river, rather that typical erosion. The resulting landscape formations are nothing short of spectacular.

I think this is called it False Creek because it doesn’t go anywhere, it just looks like a creek, well, more like a small harbor. Names aside, this is a very cool section of Vancouver.
